novel. And ambitious. Any other day is assembled on three characters: Babe Ruth , a legendary baseball player for the Red Sox, Luther Laurence, a black man that things are not going at all well, and Danny Coughlin, Boston Police . Following the three, especially Luther and Danny Lehane is marked more than 700 pages full of human conflict ... painful decisions, and corruption, shooting, bombings, bands, murders, brutal fights ... A curious mixture of thriller and historical novels, sometimes hard, sordid and crude, but not unpleasant. As if that tells you something, a tip: Lehane is the author of three novels made into films, Gone Baby Gone (Gone, Baby, Gone) , Mystic River and Shutter Island , and the script of three chapters series The Wire (2004, episode 3.03, Dead Soldiers, 2006, episode 4.04, Refugees, 2008, episode 5.08, Clarifications ).
